The Enugu State SME Agency, in collaboration with COPEN Academy, the Enugu Jobs Centre, and the Office of Digital Economy Enugu State, has announced the launch of the Enugu SME TVET Training Program.
This initiative is designed to equip young residents of Enugu State with practical construction and vocational skills that are currently in high demand across Nigeria’s growing building and infrastructure sector.

About the Enugu SME TVET Training Program 2026
The Enugu SME TVET Training Program is a four-month physical training initiative delivered in partnership with COPEN Academy and Capitis Global.
The program focuses on helping young Ndi-Enugu develop technical skills that are essential in the construction and building industry.
Successful applicants will receive hands-on training in the following areas:
Plumbing
Painting
Electrical Installation
Masonry
Tiling
These vocational skills are highly valuable in the construction sector and provide opportunities for employment, apprenticeships, and self-employment.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Enugu SME TVET Training Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be between 18 and 35 years old
Reside in Enugu State
Provide valid identification such as a National Identity Card or other acceptable ID
Demonstrate genuine interest and commitment to the training program
Basic literacy and communication skills are not mandatory, but they may be considered an advantage during the screening process.
